United States Military Academy West Point has been named a top 10 national public college by the U.S. News & World Report.

The recognition was included in the magazine’s 2025 Best College Rankings list.

The military academy moved up to second place on the top public schools category.

It also ranked eight in the best national liberal arts colleges list.

Officials say the rankings reflect the school's robust education.
