A Hot Sauce Factory Literally Caught Fire

I guess these people can now advertise their hot sauce as a TWO-ALARM FIRE . . . literally.

A fire broke out at the T.W. Garner Food Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina early yesterday morning.  That's the company that makes Texas Pete hot sauce.  (Yeah, Texas Pete is made in North Carolina.)

It was probably NOT ignited by the actual hot sauce.  But technically, we don't know that it wasn't.  Investigators say it started in a trash area, and spread to a small gas line attached to the building, which could've been bad.

But the firefighters got it under control, and no injuries were reported.

It's unclear if any hot sauce was affected by the fire.  But if it WAS, they could try to capitalize on it by releasing a limited-edition version, featuring "subtle notes of smoke . . . from our BURNING HEADQUARTERS."
