Facebook turns 21 today. It debuted on February 4, 2004 as a college university only site. A step up from Myspace, then "The" Facebook was a community for college students attending universities only. The popularity grew so big and so fast that Mark Zuckerberg decided to take it global and eventually it became the biggest social media site in the world.
Napster founder, Sean Parker got Zuckerberg to drop the "The" and just call it FACEBOOK. Good call! If you remember the movie The Social Network, Justin Timberlake played Sean Parker and the movie goes on to talk about how Facebook was thought about, founded, created, and eventually global!
So on it's 21st birthday, play some farmville and share this to - FACEBOOK!
