No... it's not what you're thinking... According to the candy company Ferrero (you know... the one that makes those tasty Rocher chocolates with the hazelnut?!?!) there's this new thing called 'ADULToween.' The stand out trend is that more than half of adults who buy candy... don't even expect trick-or-treaters! But it's Halloween, so you have to be "prepared," right?

The hot new trend is ADULTS celebrating Halloween... which I can agree... does happen more often than not. The Ferrero company released the stats to their latest Halloween Poll and here are a few of their findings:

1.  69% of adults plan to buy Halloween candy, even if they don't expect trick-or-treaters.  So for some of us, it's just an excuse to eat sweets.

2.  67% of parents will buy extra candy "just in case" they need it, then secretly stash some away for themselves.

3.  58% will decorate their house in some way, even if it's just a pumpkin on the porch.  60% of people said they enjoy pumpkin carving.

4.  47% of adults said they like to dress up in costume for their own enjoyment.

5.  36% of people plan to dress their pets up this year.

6.  77% of adults feel nostalgic about trick-or-treating.

7.  40% of people polled said Halloween is their favorite holiday.
